The First Week
So the first week of classes has come and gone. Still not quite a routine as the NMT schedule had some details that needed to be ironed out, but we received our official schedule for the rest of the semester today so nice to have that all figured out and good to go. First few days, felt a little shy and didn't talk to too many people in my class. There are 29 students in the NMT program. Starting to get to know some of my classmates better, so that has definitely helped to make things much better! Our classes is divided into different groups for labs...with the same group for all of our labs - 8 people in mine...definitely getting to know those people quite well.
Believe it or not, I already have 3 tests lined up for next week...crazyness. In many ways it is kind of nice being tested frequently b/c it forces you to review what you've learned on a regular basis, so you aren't cramming it all in for finals. Favourite class so far is probably radiation physics...yup, i'm a nerd, i know. I just like doing mathematical things. I was trying to explain it to someone in my class today, how I just love the way I feel after doing physics & math...like the way my brain feels with having to analzyze and compute stuff...yeah it is hard to explain. Least favourite class is probably either infection control and safety or the MS office basics class. Oh and radiopharmacy seems like it'll be pretty interesting too. Oh and I get to/have to wear scrubs and white shoes and a lab coat for my labs which is kind of fun...scrubs are insanely comfy!
So yeah, i think that about sums up the way school is going - on the whole, pretty good!
