another update

Well school is pressing on...midterms start at the end of next week - all I've gotta say is crazyness. School has been ridiculously busy. I generally I have anywhere from 1-3 tests a week. And last week alone, I had 9 assignments due, so yeah definitely busy. But seriously, I am really enjoying it. The course material is actually quite interesting for the most part. Out of my 9 classes this semester, I'd say only 2 are really boring, so thats not too bad. My teachers are great too...they are all really personable and easy to talk to and stuff, so thats always good. My labs are pretty fun too - already starting to get to use a bit of radioactivity so thats pretty cool and I got to use a centrifuge this week too which was fun. Yup, definitely loving it. Really tired this week, but its all good. Played some basketball for an hour and a half today to get some practice in. I signed up for intramural bball which starts up next Thursday evening - super excited for that. Thought I should practice a bit seeing as how I couldn't even remember the last time I shot a ball and I actually ended up being a lot better than I thought I would be, so that was pretty sweet.

I am really enjoying life out here so much...all of it. Living on my own, school, new friends, and church. God has provided me with an amazing church that I have settled into here and I love it. It is ridiculously huge in comparison to my church back home and b/c of that I didn't think I would like it, but I do and I am so thankful to have found a church so soon. I have been attending there for about 3 weeks now and have also gotten involved a bit with there 20's group and will be joining a small group when they start up in about a week or so.
And I must say living on my own is great too, not having to deal with my parents all the time (although they do call far too frequently) and being able to come home when I want to and stuff. Just to clarify though, I do love my parents, it is just hard living with them and being bothered with all their questions and stuff all the time. Speaking of home, I'll be heading home for a brief visit at Thanksgiving which I am starting to look forward to more. It'll be really short - I am basically only home for a day b/c I get in around 5pm on Saturday and leave at like 6am on Monday morning.

Yeah, so definitely thoroughly enjoying life...more than ever and feeling so content - God is SO good. All for now.
